Progress updates for the projects that I am currently working on!

For Gator Theme Park Engineering and Design’s in-house Animatronic Design Team, I created and fabricated the mechanism for the eyebrows of an animated alligator head.

The eyebrows came to life with the help of an FDM printer, PLA filament, and Micro Servo Motors.

I started by creating a simplified model. This allowed me to communicate my concept and estimated dimensions with other team members.

Then, I added more detail to the model, embracing the cartoon-cyborg hybid. During this step, I also added features to improve durability.

Mechanism inspired by the Bear and Beaver animated heads in the queue for Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls at Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando, FL.
